After the warm fall day the weather turned. Snow showers and windy. This cabin was on the west side of the Smith River where our days fly fishing began.
That was a dilemma. I liked the slope of the mountain coming from left to right and the fence. I wasn’t sure how to deal with that. A big crop could have done it I suppose. Any ideas?
If you have photoshop it may be possible to clone it out, or make it less significant – if not as an end result (if the medium was film) maybe an indication whether such a change would make a difference. Another option might be to drop the picture to black and white – but then you lose the autumn/fall colours. Maybe a crop down of the sky and some of the bottom to keep a similar balance…… (I’ll leave it with you! ;))
Nice job.
I do find the chevron of blue sky to the top left does pull my eye from the barn.
