When visiting the Craters of the Moon National Park I did not expect to see dwarf buckwheat plants. They were growing right out of the lava.
This fall we took a driving trip to Wyoming and Idaho. One of the stops was Craters of the Moon National Park. This little known park is located Northeast of Idaho Falls. It was a dreary day with constant rain falling. Used a plastic bag to shield the camera.
In Idaho Falls there is 5 mile walk along the Snake River that goes through the city. The small white steeple in the background is a LDS church.
Our most recent adventure was a road trip through parts of Utah, Idaho and Wyoming. When leaving Logan, UT using highway 89 it takes you to Great Bear Lake. The lake straddles Utah and Idaho. This old cabin was on the Idaho side
All that was left of this old tractor was the shaft and the wheel.
A friend turned me on to this junk yard for tractors. I spent a couple of hours wandering around taking various shots and liked this one. It’s Ford’s Golden Jubilee model celebrating 5o years of production from 1908 to 1958.
I have no idea how many times this iconic barn had been photographed but it’s a lot.
