I don’t shoot wildlife because my Leica is set up with wide angle lenses. However, while hiking along the Snake River in Jackson Hole I spotted this moose. Actually, she spotted me. I’ve cropped the photo as much as possible to be able to see her.
I was in Jackson Hole last weekend staying with a good friend and pilot who flew me to the back side of The Grand Tetons. This was shot at 13,500 feet on cloudy day making it perfect for Black & White
Moulton Cabin in Jackson Hole, WY is a popular photo with everyone framing it with the sun highlighting the cabin and the Tetons in the background. As you can see, the weather was uncooperative so I thought black and white would be a more appropriate way to see it.
After a couple of days at Zion National Park we moved on to Wyoming. The little town of Wilson is 12 miles southwest of Jackson Hole. Dear friends own a small ranch on Fish Creek and this is a look at the creek at sunrise.
