At long last we got some rain last night with more to come on Friday and Saturday. This morning I wanted to see what the ocean looked like. Had to wade to this outcropping to get the angle I wanted. Tried different things but long exposure worked the best. This was taken with a ND filter at 12sec.
I spent the weekend shooting black and white film and one of the locations was this little creek which runs through “old town” Arroyo Grande, CA. The way the sun came though all the foliage at sunup I had to switch cameras for a while. The second photo is the walking path down to the water.
Montana del Oro is west of Los Osos, CA. This vast area has hiking trails along the ocean cliffs and there are several places to walk down to the ocean. The wave action has carved out these interesting rock formations.
