This field of wildflowers is just north of Shell Creek Road.
I posted this rock previously but it has been awhile ago. Recently a person contacted by me via the blog who wanted permission to print it for a gift. His request motivated me to go shoot it again. Yesterday the clouds cleared and provided a good opportunity to capture the Gazebo in Pismo Beach. This is a popular and busy spot for weddings during the summer but pretty quiet now. In the far left background you can see the pier.
Heavy rains starting tomorrow lasting for several day so I wanted to get a beach walk in this afternoon.
Just returned from a family ski trip in South Lake Tahoe and it snowed all night and most of the day we were to leave for home. Yes, four wheel drive or chains was mandatory.
We made a short visit to Boise and Sun Valley Idaho this week. I saw this abandoned store on Highway 20 just south of Fairfield, Idaho.
