Every spring I drive to Shell Creek Road to check out the wildflowers. All the rain this year has really made them pop.
Shell Creek is an hour drive northeast of me and in the spring it is a landscape photographers paradise. This year, with the lack of rain, it was very different. Normally this area would be full of yellow, blue, and red wild flowers and water would be running in the creek. You can see that nature tried very hard. I hope to post a comparison post this time next spring to show the difference.
